Gran Turismo 7 servers have been unusable for over 24 hours
The Servers of Gran Turismo 7 are still failed, more than 24 hours after the introduction of a seemingly routine (but controversial) updates. Patch 1.07 already annoyed the fans of the game because it refined a popular credit-grinding method, as Polyphony seems to make credits so difficult as it was originally intended. However, it is now annoying at a whole new level - people can not even play the game to earn said credits.
Shortly after the update was released yesterday, Polyphony Digitally announced that the downtime of the server will "extended", as the resolving of a problem is being worked on. Since then, however, no longer has been communicated, and more than 24 hours later the servers remain offline.
While Gran Turismo 7 offers a considerable amount of single player content, such as: B. License tests, the story mode bound to the GT Café and more, can not be accessed without being connected to its servers. You can not even play a local split screen in Gran Turismo 7 without being online. This means that the players are excluded from pretty much all content of the game and only a selection of individual events in arcade mode is available to play. Even then, you can only use the setup of 13 cars that polyphony has selected for these offline races, and not the vehicles in your own garage.
Also with these offline races no credits are awarded or credited to their daily miles.

In view of these double bio-messages for players after only two weeks Gran Turismo 7, the community is understandably frustrated. It also strengthens some concerns before the publication that virtually all contents of the game are bound to an online connection. The reduction of the rewards for the conclusion of certain events also confirms concerns about the in-game economy of GT7 and the use of microtransactions.
Overall, this seemingly simple patch GT7 has actually brought into trouble despite its excellent action on the track. Polyphony hopes for a quick recovery and on the fact that the events of the last 24 hours do not stop the players from holding on the racing simulation.
