The Locked and Fallout 76 update is ... well locked and loaded

Next month, Bethesda will release the Locked and Loaded update in Fallout 76. In appearance, this update does not seem so great that Steel Dawn update a few months ago. However, this adds a lot of improvements that players will surely appreciate. Most improvements in quality of life revolve around having more options, especially with camps and special statistics. Bethesda has developed a developer's Vlog to explore what players can expect to do in the future in the Lock and Load update.

Fallout 76: The Locked & Loaded Update

In the current state of things, players can only have one camp at a time. You can customize it, conceive carefully, but if you want to move, you have to demolish it and move it. This will no longer be the case when launching this new update. Although you can still have only one active camp at a time, you will be able to save your camp as shown, disable it and build a new camp at another location. If you want to change camp again, you can simply reactivate this old camp as it was, no necessary reconstruction. The locked and loaded update also increases the building budget, fast displacement points and camp locations.

In the same spirit, players will have more options with their special statistics. If you are a player responsible for charisma and intelligence, but you want to know what the strength and perception game looks like, you will be able to have special loads. Just like having different loads in Call of Duty or in other games, Fallout 76 players will be able to switch between recorded special loads to try different styles of play. You can also exchange them strategically if some mission or challenge requires different statistics. All you have to do is visit a Punch Card station to handle your loads.

These are the strengths of Locked and Loaded, but there are more details to come. The public test server for locked and loaded is now active, but the update itself will be officially launched on April 27. Fallout 76 is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
