LPL Midlaner is due to manipulation of LOL eSports

A LEAGUE OF LEGENDS professional in China's LPL is being investigated after replicating messages that appear to show that it operates game manipulation. The Midlan Chen, Jay 'Bo of LGD Gaming has now been reported by his team of LPL, which will now perform a comprehensive investigation.

The message was first reported by Korizons Kevin Kim, who says Jay has communicated during the Spring Split "with an outsider to deliberately lose selected LPL games". Screenshots The allegedly between Jay and a third exchanged messages translated into English broken, were posted by an anonymous account on the Chinese social media website Weibo. While there are several exchanges, a Jay seems to throw in a match against top eSports.

The news may indicate that Jay was not the only one that was affected. A message mentions a "team-colleague" that could help him in a particular scenario. At this time, however, no other member of the LGD was named or reported.

LGD has confirmed a Weibo Post that Jay - one of four players was investigated last December during the low season under a service plan overhaul to the team. Since LGD occupies the last place in Spring Split, these investigations have no influence on the currently running LPL playoffs. LGD ended the split with a bad 3-13 record.

Unfortunately, game manipulations in the Chinese League of Legends are nothing new. Last year, a massive investigation 38 players and coach locked for participation in game manipulations both in the LPL and in the league league, the LDL.
