How to make a telescope in the Minecraft Caves & Cliffs update

One of the interesting things about the Caves & Cliffs update is that we actually get a brand new item that has never had an iteration in the game before: the telescope.

The minecraft telescope will allow the game to look through and see through its circular lens at a distant distance in this direction.

Collect Resources for a Telescope

To make a telescope, you will need both the new ore and the new type of splinters added to the game: the bursts of copper and amethyst.

Copper is a semi-precious metal that you will probably be able to find at the same pace as something like lapis-lazuli. It is a mineral that must be melted like iron or gold. The amethyst splinters, on the other hand, are extremely difficult to find because they can only be harvested from the amethyst geodes: a new rare subterrane generation.

The location of an amethyst geode can be facilitated by the fact that if one of them is nearby, you will hear the sound of bells ring. Follow the sound to find the geode.

To obtain a glow of amethyst, you must break the amethyst crystals that grow inside the geode. The geode blocks themselves are impossible to obtain, but the crystals can repel over time, so if you find a geode, it is good to draw a route so that you can easily come back to break more fragments.

Once you have got both amethyst and copper bursts, you will have everything you need to make a telescope. The exact recipe has not been published yet, but it is clear that obtaining these souls of amethyst will be most of the battle.
