Gran Tourism 7 was the best-selling video game in Japan
Gran Turismo 7 was the best-selling video game last week at Japan stores.
The Digital Polyphony Driving Simulator sold almost 140,000 at its premiere, adding the versions of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The new generation was the most sold, with more than 73,000 copies, followed by that of the previous one with more than 64,000.
The first place on the list, however, is occupied by another premiere that has worked greatly well in Japan: Triangle Strategy. The JRPG of Square Enix, exclusive to Nintendo Switch, has sold more than 86,000 copies in its first week.
Babylon's Fall, on the other hand, does not enter the Top Ten and has barely sold five thousand copies by adding sales at PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
As regards the hardware, Switch has sold almost one hundred thousand units counting the three models (OLED, Normal and Lite). After her is PlayStation 5, with something more than twenty-five thousand, and in third place Xbox series, with just one thousand three hundred.
