Horizon Forbidden West reveals the size of the PS5 file
We are less than a month from the release of Horizontal forbidden west, which means that some of the persistent questions that fans had on the title finally begin to go out in light. And although we have already seen a handful of new progress from the game over the past week, we have also learned how much space it will occupy at PlayStation 5 once it launched.
Thanks to a new PlayStation Game Size tweet, which is a Twitter account that tracks Backend's information that appears on the PlayStation Store, Horizontal forbidden west will end weighing 85,913 GB for those in the United States. On the contrary, it is said that the European edition of the game now has a total of 96,350 GB. The reason why each version is a little different in size is because the iteration of the EU serves a larger market where there are many more language options. As such, those additional languages end up adding around 10 GB more to the game compared.
While this information is definitely given a good idea of how much space we will need to release to download horizontal forbidden west in PS5, it is worth emphasizing that this size is still not official. The reason for this is that this is simply the base size of the game without additional updates. Given the common patches of the first day for almost all video games, there is a good possibility that Horizontal forbidden west will actually be a little bigger than the sizes we have currently seen. As such, maybe you clear a little more space in your own SSD to take this into account.
As a whole, Horizontal forbidden west will eventually be launched next month, on February 18, and will arrive at PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Make sure you are attentive to our coverage here at Comicbook.com during February, since we should have a review of the Game to share with you at some point.
